Big Bear
When I first saw Big Bear at South LA Shelter I thought he was the most pathetic looking thing I had ever seen!
He
would spend most of his time at the shelter facing the corner just
devastated. Honestly he was not very friendly and who
could blame him. There was just something about his eyes-
you could see right into his soul and you could see THE HURT.
Bear had many medical issues to deal with the most obvious being his non existant thyroid level.
He also had alot lot of EMOTIONAL healing to do.
There is no doubt that Bear was beaten
severely and he has the scars to prove
it...including a two inch long scar right between his eyes.
Bear has come a long way. He is the most loving and GRATEFUL dog. Take a dog that has only known pain
and suffering and show him what it is to be loved. That is
a rescue dog and there is nothing better!!
